Handy Drums now come with a MIDI Browser/Player included from V2 which is essential for quickly auditioning MIDI files as most DAW's lack this feature. This feature alone is must have tool in your toolbox.
When the style of music calls for lots and lots of double kicks playing all those 16ths, you need a snappy kick with plenty of “click” attack to glue together with those blasting guitar riffs. That is exactly what Handy Drums METAL STANDARD kit provides.
The snare is fat and explosive; all achieved naturally in the recording room. The toms have plenty of fast attack, played even harder to really capture the full energy and carry that into the sampled instrument. Together with bright (but not harsh cymbals), they make a really cohesive drum kit that is ideal for Metal and its many subgenres, such as Heavy Metal, Death Metal, Thrash Metal, Speed Metal, Progressive Metal, Groove Metal, and much more.
